Deltävling nr 2 genomfördes under lördagen den 11 febrauri i Göteborg, Skandinavium. Denna gång var det endast två programledare, Sarah och Gina då Helena B hade förhinder. Kvällen inleddes med en häftig show där tjejerna klätt ut sig till killar (efter lite kritik av att det bara var tjejer på scen). Även denna gång var det en härlig blandning av musik, dock inte så spretigt som första deltävlingen. Men en härlig blandning av ballad, pop, folkmusik och rockabilly. Och allt från den unga tjejgruppen Tomoteij med folkmusiktoner till Thomas Di Leva:s budskap om fred och kärlek. Det var fler låtar med vackert budskap t.ex. Sonja Aldéns vackra ballad ”I din himmel” (min personliga favorit, men den gick tyvärr inte vidare). Vinnare blev denna gång två killar; först förhandstippade unge Ulrik Munther med sin låt ”Soldiers” – en jättebra låt med en allvarlig text och som man kommer ihåg. Låten har han skrivit själv tillsammans med Joy Deb, Linnea Deb David Jackson och Johan Åberg. Den andra vinnarlåten var lite mer disco-aktig och kommer säkert spelas en hel del på sommarens dansgolv. Det var artisten David Lindgren som framförde låten ”Shout it out” på ett väldigt professionellt sätt. Han gjorde kort och gott succé under kvällen! Låten är skriven av Fernando Fuentes och Tony Nilsson.
Till andra chansen gick två låtar som utmärkte sig genom lite speciell musikstil, den ena var ”Stormande hav” med gruppen Timoteij som blandar pop med svensk folkmusik. Den andra låten framfördes av rockabilly gruppen Top Cats med sin låt ”Baby doll”.
